Glühwein is prepared from red wine, heated and spiced with cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, citrus, sugar and vanilla pods. Glühwein is a unique, aromatic spiced wine offered during the Winter and Holiday Seasons and is standard at all German Christmas markets.
